OUR CLUB

Our club provides competitive and social netball opportunities for all participants who want to play, umpire or coach, and welcome all ages and levels of experience and ability.

Our club values friendship, community spirit, teamwork and respect to all members – from our volunteers to our umpires and parents.

Our Volunteers and Life Members are active and engaged members in our organisation, and we are grateful and thankful for their outstanding contributions to the development of netball with us. Without their support we wouldn’t be able to do what we do!

Our History

Pam Hall was instrumental in setting up a ladies “basketball” competition of 11 teams in Manly Warringah area in 1955. They played at Manly District Park on a Saturday and by 1959 had grown to 17 clubs with about 30 teams.

In 1960, Pam Hall founded the Collaroy Plateau Youth Club Netball Division.

In 1965 Manly Warringah Women’s Basketball Association began operation with Collaroy Plateau as a founding member.

Pam Hall served on the Executive Committees of the Manly Warringah Women's Basketball Group and Manly Warringah Netball Association for in excess of 35 years. She was also a badged umpire, coach and manager and served on numerous sub-committees of the association.

Pam Hall, for her outstanding service to netball, received the following awards:

Life Membership of the Manly Warringah Netball Association (1976),

Life Membership of the Collaroy Plateau Youth Club,
